Iranian films win awards at China filmfest

Iranian films ‘Pale Mirrors’ and ‘Refugee Camp’ have won two awards at the Sound & Image Challenge Int’l Festival in China.

‘Pale Mirrors’ directed by Salom Salavati and ‘Refugee Camp’ directed by Saeed Naghavian respectively won the Jury Award and Best Commercial Film Award at the 2016 Sound & Image Challenge International Festival held in Macau, China.

The Sound & Image Challenge International Festival is an annual worldwide audio-visual festival that aims to motivate local movie producers and encourage overseas productions to compete in Macau.

The Challenge targets both professionals and novices in the field of moving image and sound design.

The 7th Sound & Image Challenge International Festival was held from December 6-11.
